1 THE DIET
Developped in 1975 by Dr. Atkins, this diet, if applied strictly reccomends avoiding all starches (rice, pasta, bread, cereals, etc) some vegetables (beans and similar) all fruits, all sugars and milk. Cheese, yoghurts, cream and butter are allowed, however, because the sugar from the lactose goes away with fermentation.
